<<How much is 87 cents in 1963 dollars?>>

What does 1963 have to do with 02/99? But if you really want to compare 87 cents was 0.348 bushels of corn in '63. today it's 0.470 bushels of corn. Now today it's a ratio one gallon of gas per bushel of corn using today's prices and not '63.

Edit. Gas was about a quarter a gallon in '63. In '63 you could get over 3 gallons for that 87 cents.
