What are your thoughts on the upcoming Kraft IPO....I tell ya....I just can't make up my mind.......debuting on wed, I beleive for between 27 - 30 a share.....awesome brand name, great earnings...largest food company in U.S., second largest in the world. The negatives = skitso market, fairly high IPO price, summer doldrums ahead.....but then again, maybe something like Kraft would be a safehaven....people will always eat their oreo's and cereal and macaroni and cheese and etc, etc,.......

I just cant seem to make up my mind on this one......it could be a good performer......they will be valued at about 40 billion at the ipo price.....sounds high, but then again, they are number two in the world....in looking at other food and drink companies, they seem pretty cheap....others have same valuation, but are not nearly as large as kraft.........then again, there is so much beaten down tech stuff, I am wondering if I am better off taking the dollars I would be putting into kraft at $27 - $30, and putting it into a beaten down tech and get more shares for the dollar........but then again, maybe I am better off diversifying a little bit.....I am 100% tech as it is....anyway, I just can't seem to make up my mind on this....if she was coming out at $17 a share, I wouldnt even be contemplating it, but since she is debuting at $27 - $30, I am really having a hard time deciding what the hell to do....my broker said she doesnt expect to see kraft ipo take off like a rocket, but says she thinks long term it could present excellent returns, being it is the largest in U.S. and 2nd largest in world, and is not impacted by the economy as much as other sectors...I mean sheez, I know my wife and I have certainly been eating out a lot less and eating alot of macaroni and cheese and etc........anyway, as you can tell, I am at a loss as to what to do on this....one minte I tell myself to grab some shares, the next minute I tell myself to be patient and buy twice the number of shares of some beaten down tech company that will eventually recover..........

any and all opinions on this "dilema" would be greatly appreciated....lots of good minds on this thread......would love to hear any and all opinions......

TIA

Keith
