Hey Dude, glad you're back. Thought you were to have gotten back sooner and that's why I was calling trying to find ya. Was about to get the search party out. Tell Ma Jones we have 3 baby bunnies in the front yard. One got killed by one of the cats unfortunately. Every morning I run out there to count heads. The nest is at the base of a pine tree about 40 feet from the front door. They are mobile and often are outside the nest, but within about 10 feet from it. Mrs. RR and I just took some food out there to them and only saw one this time. They seem to come back to the nest at night. Momma coon may have had babies. She is acting just like she did last year when she had them. She came into the house last night. She wanted her cookies and we didn't have them fixed yet. The boys looked at the door window and she was standing up, with her front paws on the glass looking in the family room. She waited at the door as I hurried and fixed a tray of the cookies and peanut butter. When I opened the door, she immediately walked right into the house by about two feet. I stopped her and laid the cookies down. She took one and ran on her hind legs to the water bowl, holding the cookie up to her mouth with her two front paws, licking the peanut butter. She likes to jump in the water and eat the cookies that way. I lay the tray nearby so she can quickly get another and jump back in. Later.... RR
