I'm too busy to move in and out of AMD and especially shorting it.

I went long at $8 (all prices are split adj. price), $12, $17, and a few shares at $25.50.

I'm not looking to exit till sometime after Hammer.

60% of my shares are in IRA's anyway so I'm not to concerned with short moves.

I've gone for the LONG BOMB and I think we are going to make it into the END ZONE. So far we've moved more then half-way across the field.

M.

<Mani is a brave soul to be short AMD. Any number of news items can gap the stock up leaving shorts in a mad scramble to cover. If one is negative on AMD, he should be buying puts instead, limiting the downside. Of course AMD options are very expensive because of its volatility.>

I agree with this assessment. Being one of the more reasonably valued stocks, there is a significant scope for PE expansion especially if a corporate design win pans out.
