Thank you,Ed. You did Lindy Bill and any other potential Vilar enthusiast a great favour. The record shows that in 4.5 years he managed to preserve the investors' capital, but didn't make a dime. I love opera; the great operas really enrich ones life. Vilar is a wonderful man for giving so much money to support opera. But the record does not indicate that he is a wise investor.

I would love to see a rundown of his fund's portfolio. "Alberto Vilar " Wow, you have to wonder if the guy follows his own advice. He has some real dotbombs in this list.
