Paul,
I agree that consolidation and the falling out of weaker companies that will not be able to survive the economic downturn has not completely been unravelled yet. Many think that the bottom is now in place on the NAZ, with the range between 2050 and 2300 recently. Reality is that the market either need to break-out or down and with recent economical data I am placing my bets on the sellers. Market direction contributes to the success of a trade, but selection of security and market timing is the difference between a successful trade and an unsuccessful one. Let's hope we can be accurate at both.
