Mark, its a beautiful morning here and the last thing I want to do is get in an argument with you on a chat-line, so lets drop it.
Anyway, it appears by what you just said your opinion of what a 'long term investor' should do to eliminate large losses is the same as mine.

I do have some stocks I didn't use stop losses on and now I'm paying the price.:-(
