well, now that i understand that you are offering short term trading alerts, (and not front-running), i will consider your posts in that spirit.

"naysayer"....not I....just curious about the intent of a high frequency poster on a busy message board

"ignorant"...perhaps..but been around this message board stuff to be duly diligent and curious about someone's agenda

Dont sweat the critisim Walk Softly. I appreciate the purpose of your posts, and after watching for a while see that you've hit some pretty well.

On the other hand they dont quite fit the trading style of the thread since since you seem primarily to focus on very short term movements in the long direction.

I'd say try to filter it down to the recommendations you feel very strongly about, and please keep on posting them.

Eric

Walk Softly.
Please read the nature of this board.
Emphasis is on Short Selling and Value plays.

What you are doing is MOMO plays not value plays.
I do not discount the TA, in fact I did not check. But a break of 25 leading to 26 is really absurd. Anyone playing for 1 point on a stock at 25 is being silly IMHO. Had you said a break of 25 could lead to 30 at least it would have had some meaning. If the stock was at 4 and had you said a break of 5 could lead to 6, well that is significant as well. Thus, your post, even if correct was hardly practical information except to perhaps impress us with your knowlege of resistance FIRMLY at 26, else you would have said a higher number.

The reason we are here is to find entry and exit points on POS stocks to short and value plays for the long haul.
MUSE etc etc etc etc etc etc etc at a PE of over 200 is hardly a value play.

In fact tell me any "value" plays that you have mentioned on all your long plays. You might also note that Michail stays away from most of the tech momo plays as short candidates as well, prefering stuff with a decent chance to fall to ZERO.

As for me not offering anything. Well perhaps that is true. I do have an occasional question that Michail answers and hopefully others were interested in the answer. My last question was on when to short MU. I believe that was a general interest question that others might have been interested in.

But assuming that I am not offering anything, my 2-3 weekly posts are sure not subtracting much either. At least two other people agree that you are substracting.

It is not my place to police Michail's board but I wanted my feelings known. Hopefully Michail will comment on this himself and we all (hopefully you as well) can abide by the answer.

M

Count me in as one who would value your posts more if there were many fewer of them.... care to lump them together five or ten at a time, instead of posting individually? Would make it much easier on us completely clueless folks who follow the Pump thread for reasons other than 100% devotion to technical analysis...
