LOL. More than 20 accounts. impristine has been here a long, long time and should know better. Still, we who have enjoyed your off-color poetry would appreciate your christening this thread with a Haiku, please. Mr. Chicken, your thread has not arrived until you receive that seal.

You mistook this Olivier for that Oliver? Oh boy, lol. Amigo, read through the posts...

From what I have seen and heard, I do believe that we can "win." We're not "hammering" or "attacking" - far from it. We're sorting out the truth from the lies and taking steps to see that those who are responsible for hijacking day trading are compelled to face the consequences for abusing thousands of day traders throughout the years. If you think that sounds like a tall order, perhaps it is, and I more than most realize what is in store in this, but that is no reason to simply sit here and do nothing. There is a mountain of evidence in support of the allegations that have been made - and not all of it has been made public here at SI.

In the end, my friend, what it boils down to, notwithstanding respect for the Law in securities dealings and other areas, is this simple question many people face at one time or another in their lives:

Am I going to use whatever talent I have been given or cultivated in myself over time to work hard and succeed at my chosen endeavor in an honorable way, with respect for my fellow man, OR am I going to take a different path, where I intend to scheme and deceive all I come across, target the unwary and unsuspecting and step on them as hard as I can to achieve my goals?

When all is said and done, the people we are discussing chose the latter road - and broke every moral, ethical and legal standard you could imagine in their quest to establish an investment empire built on the ruination of countless innocents. Their business is founded on the complete destruction of many, and I can tell you that from what I have seen of these people throughout my career, they actually enjoy the process. They laugh as people are ruined. They are proud of the lies they tell, arrogant and secure in their belief that they will get away with it, that they are quite clever. Many of you have seen this same arrogance displayed here. The fact is, they have gotten away with it for a long time, but that will not continue much longer now. And part of this reason is a major miscalculation they made: that those who might attempt to fight them would be by now ruined anyway and had not the will nor the means to field any kind of legal campaign against them. There they have made a serious mistake.

The winning will be when a simple jury of our peers passes fair judgment on the matters at hand. It won't take place here at SI, but events that have taken place here are signposts leading to that conclusion. When we get there, I hope trading takes a dramatic turn for the better, and that the few who betrayed the many are punished.

Regards,

Olivier L. F. Asser
