<<Dubya's handlers said that his critics had low expectations of him, but that we would see. They were right.>>

That was a result of their correct recognition of the American media as an adversary, rather than an objective reporter of the election. It was a long-overdue recognition by Republicans that they do not fight this war on a level playing field. That will eventually change.

What many of you foolish liberals thought was that it was a comment-possibly even a concession-regarding the candidate. These very capable people judged GWB BEFORE they agreed to work for him. If they didn't think he was of the very best character and capability, they'd all be out in the private sector doing other jobs.

It is the nature of conservatives that they don't need to do politics for a living like liberals do. That is too bad, in that fewer of them choose to engage in the life even for a few years. But, as in most wars, it also means that the strongest of character and most dedicated are drawn to the flag when the country is in the most trouble. As in 1980, you will ultimately see them sweep away the liberals and clean up the mess they created.

The impeachment fix and the attempted destruction of democracy in 2000 by the corrupt Democratic machine has lit up the cannons. Those conservatives who see, once again, the danger that these charlatans have created for America are now riding toward the sound of the guns.
