Yes, D levels are pivot calculations that averages pivots. It also compares how current prices relates to D levels over various timeframes, like daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.

I have found that the institutional following is so large that the daily D levels often signals daily lows and highs at a high percentage of times.
