TVX is nothing more than a big gamble (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/010510/2569.html). Their mines are mostly depleted and cost of extraction is very high (http://www.tvxgold.com/press/2001/010510.pdf ........ see production costs). The only bright spot is compensation from Greece or $600 for an ounce of gold. Writing all this will not negate the possibility to make an easy triple or even more based on maniac movements if the DOT.COM craze will transcend to gold stocks. Any one buying Price Line last winter made over 5 times it's money as of today and at least on SI poster I spoke to did that. (not me)
