Yes. There is an ANATEL ruboff here. Not identical but a ruboff.

Well, it is not settled yet and they are looking for feedback.

>> On the Boards This Week : 3G Phones

What do they say about 3G now?

The Daily Telegraph London
Jun 08 2001

The government raised a remarkable pounds 22.5 billion last year from the auction of the next generation of mobile phone licences, but there are fears that the bidders will be unable to recoup their costs.
Plucka on ADVFN: "I have very serious doubts about the success of 3G. It's going to take years just to build the infrastructure again at more huge costs. All for what - so people can access the internet on their phone?

"They will never make money on this, and never enough to recoup the massive debts that they have incurred."

Ironage on E*Trade: "The thing is . . . 3G will revolutionise our lives, it's already started with 2G. There is no going back. Sure, everyone's nervous right now but you, along with me, are soon going to be throwing those 2G phones in the bin and laughing about how we ever got by with just voice and text."

Dieng on ADVFN: "Once 3G is here, it will become the norm, a must- have, like mobiles are now."

TheCyborg on Interactive Investor: "3G will be so expensive that it will be difficult to find products that are affordable and the public want. 3G networks will require more masts to carry higher rates of data, which are likely to run into resistance from a public worried about the health implications of untested technology."

Opmoc on Hemscott: "Vodafone and BT are going down the pan. 3G is a technical and commercial dead duck. Basically the entire concept of 3G has always been exceedingly dodgy - and the costs totally ridiculous."

Dennis Roth on Silicon Investor: "Wireless telecom leaders in Asia are already beating the drums about fourth generation (4G) cellular networks when they can't even get 3G systems off the ground yet."

The Popester on Hemscott: "My friend at Vodafone has a 3G test model phone and it is awesome. Don't write it off yet . . . " <<
