But should McVeigh be put to death while another terrorist that killed, but from the leftist idea, is allowed to live as insane? - Unibomber.

Both of these guys are terrorists and both did terrible things. I don't want to seem to be an apologist for the Unibomber, but there is a considerable difference between the two. First, there's the order of magnitude of the death toll. Second, the Unibomber targeted individuals, universities, and airlines. McVeigh targeted The Government. I think those are two big differences. Attributing the difference in treatment to political wing seems more than a stretch to me.

Did Hitler kill 5,000 or 5,000,000 - it's the thought that counts. A killer is no better than the crime he acts out - it has nothing to do with the magnitude or the target.

I've seen a number of discussions on these threads about liberal bias in the major media. I've also seen discussion that Fox News is "balanced." Since it showed up on my cable a week or so ago, I've been watching it to see how it differs from the channels to which I'm accustomed.

I noticed that even on Fox News, there has been no presentation of the slightest hint of the "other side" of the McVeigh bombing. There has been nary a panelist taking the side of the extreme anti-government right wing-nuts.

Do you think this shows leftie bias on the part of Fox, as well?
