Ish,

I guess you are talking about Allison. Even though I am so very happy to have moved to Florida, for the wonderful reason that you are aware of, the storm did not do much damage, or create that much inconvenience, in the area where I had lived. I talked to my youngest Son, via email, and he said that some of the creeks were out, and some tree limbs fell, but nothing was flooded to the degree that has been shown on TV. On a couple of roads, the water was up to the bumper on his Chevy pick-up, but he could drive right through it with no problem. He did say that he had never seen rain fall in that quantity per hour in all of the years he had been around those parts, and some old timers told him the same thing.
