Flashball? That's what our 18D used to call dextrose IVs we'd practice giving each other to rehydrate down in Panama. We had a ton of them we never used, and it was good training, as well as an instant re-invigoration from the blazing sun and horrendous humidity. Put one of those in you and you suddenly feel like a new person. And a heck of lot better than trying to pump gallons of chlorinated water from our ROWPU down our throats to prevent heat exhaustion.

Btw, I just did a search and I was surprised how few references there were when I queried "flashball".. That's just what he called them and how we learned to refer to them.
