Canuck Dave, news on your pick ZPA-v: Zappa to acquire interest in La Plata property Mon 11 Jun 2001 Property Agreement The Canadian Venture Exchange has accepted for filing a non-arm's-length agreement between Zappa Resources and Cambior Inc., (the vendor) of Longueuil, Que., pursuant to which the company will acquire all of the vendor's remaining beneficial mineral rights 55-per-cent undivided interest in the Henri and La Florida Exploration concessions known collectively as the La Plata mineral prospect (the property) located in Ecuador. In consideration, the company has agreed to pay $300,000 in cash consideration to the vendor. The vendor, in return upon closing, will give back to the company 5,080,904 fully paid common shares for cancellation by the company. In order to effect the overall transaction, Albert Gerry, the president of the company will purchase 1,666,666 fully paid common shares of the company, currently held by the vendor, which is in addition to the amounts disclosed above.
