Amazing story of the Jews & the story of man....and a
1000 million individual human stories
that were mixed up in that overview. And that represents
only the last 2000 years.

And it becomes even more overwhelming when you go farther
back another 2000 years or 4000years before that .
I had no idea the extent of the Roman destruction
totalling 1 million which is about equal to the entire
population of Rome itself .

Endless war , endless destruction , endless subjugation jealousies , fear and boundless greed
and expansion .

Sure has been a trail of tears , mans rise in nature .
Always much the same creature , just the scale of his
reach has increased.

One thing has changed , and that is many wars now are
recorded in real-time , and brought right into
the home ...no need to wait for the minstrel bards
to sing about it later.

Spears are hurled 100's of miles...like gods . But
parts of those people then , remain in us today.
No wonder man has always longed for the promised land
and created so much out of longing , faith and hope.
As if nature didn't offer enough challenges to us , and
our tendency to overpopulate .

We rose and fell so many times , it becomes dizzy looking back...

One of my favorite little cartoons , is two caveman standing pensively with clubs lisltlessly perched on their shoulders , and just a few feet away from the
wheel they just finished inventing ....

One is saying to the other reflectively:

" maybe we should give up wearing clothes, and forget
how to talk before it's too late !
"

do you think it was a male/tribal/God thing ?
