The day Elmat discover ADSL was going to die

I wrote to that guy who publishes DSL Prime and made a proposal (back in 1999):
"Lets make a partnership and open an offshoot of DSL Prime here in Europe."

He was very honest: He told me that ADSL wouldn't be a technology that you could be building a business on it. It would be good for some five years maximum and then be supplanted by something else.

I never thought about it until late last Summer when I was given a very hard look at ADSL.

I reasoned: If the guy who knows everything about DSL, who has the kind of insiders talking to him, this guy must know things that we generally don't know.

I put that with what I knew about the business and bingo: ADSL IS DEAD.
