Sig, sounds like you're on track.
That's what I would do, establish some modest positions and let the market tell me what moves, if any, I would need to make.
We all know there are more warnings coming, and I would tend to view these as buying opps (depending on who it is that's warning), not immediately, but down the road a bit.
Very few analysts say anything publicly that seems worthwhile to me.
With regular self-serve at $1.41 here, down from $1.69 a few weeks ago, that should add a bit of a tailwind to earnings, and confidence, in the second half.
Again, just my own observations, but I would say that employment and consumer confidence have held up remarkably well in my area. Some layoffs around the edges, but nothing major.
No need to open soup kitchens.

down we go again. I sold everything today that I had bought since April.
]I now only own a small amount of BRCD< CIEN, EMC, and MSFT.

Everything else i pictched, just broke even on the trades.

I think we have to face this year is essentially going to be flatline or up 5% at the most.
