Petz,

<Sources speculate that this chip will debut at about 800MHz>

The speculation that I heard and the internal sources that I knew put the Corvette launch speed at 1 Ghz. That made a heck of lot of sense since desktop Palomino/Corvette chips were supposed to reach 1.33 or 1.4 GHz at lunch in H2 2001.

It does not make much sense to have a power reduced core coming in at 800MHz for Mobiles when the standard issue (i.e., not power reduced) Fab25 spitfires were reaching the same number.
