I have to come out on the side of Neocon here. While there may be no empirical evidence to support the existence of God (and I know that is in itself a point of debate), that does not necessarily lead to the conclusion that there is no God. It merely means there is no empirical evidence to support an unequivical assertion that God exists. Everything after that is, IMO, a statement of personal belief. If Neo chooses to accept the existence of God, then I have no reasons to show him demonstrably that he is wrong. Likewise if I choose to accept the non-existence. He may choose to attempt to show that his reasons for believing are persuasive in the absence of evidence, but that is a matter of faith and personal conviction. This is my position on the matter, at the least. Which is why I find both pushers and bashers of religion to be somewhat distasteful. Derek
