Just FYI - Not much options activities for Amat in the past 2 weeks or so therefore not much volatility premium. There was one material option traded last Friday - 1,300 Amat Oct-42.5 puts were opened last Friday at $3 each--(Thursday's OI updated on friday morning was 3512, friday's was updated this morning as 4763. So those were newly opened contracts.) There is only one small one for today - 405 Oct-50 puts for $5.50. The current OI is 2227. It's not easy to see the buyer/sellers intentions in a single day/trade; but I found that if follow them consistently, it helps me to see better.
