Well CC there are two ways. One, if you are a US citizen, they basically have you by the balls. They can do whatever they want, eventually you will have to pay US taxes or go to jail. Two, a foreign company or not, the IRS have their ways, offshore investment banks got quite a shock this year when the IRS said they were tired of foreign investors getting a big chunk of profits from the US markets without paying uncle sam. So they told the investment banks they will either reveil their investors names or they will just withold a fixed amount of tax from every trade.

They can plug the hole believe me....it is just a matter of getting in and out before they can do it.
