Terrence, The only problem is that Bill Lockyer is a Republican. Well, I guess he is the only Repub in State Government so I can see how he can get caught up in the liberal hyperbole... The funny thing here is that Californians brought the situation upon themselves. I live here and I admit that I was part of the problem. I fought several hydroelectric projects because they would ruin wild rivers. I thought we should have done more nuclear projects, solar, and gas turbines...but Californians failed to build any generation capacity all the while building endless urban sprawl. We deserve what has happened to us. Enron is not evil, simply a capitalistic company taking advantage of a supply shortage. I don't fault them at all... -John
