Terrence,

The only problem is that Bill Lockyer is a Republican. Well, I guess he is the
only Repub in State Government so I can see how he can get caught up in the
liberal hyperbole...

The funny thing here is that Californians brought the situation upon themselves.
I live here and I admit that I was part of the problem. I fought several hydroelectric
projects because they would ruin wild rivers. I thought we should have done
more nuclear projects, solar, and gas turbines...but Californians failed to build
any generation capacity all the while building endless urban sprawl. We deserve
what has happened to us. Enron is not evil, simply a capitalistic company taking
advantage of a supply shortage. I don't fault them at all...

Terrence, I posted that when it happened a couple of weeks ago. Still has his job I guess. Not even any outrage. Depressing.

Plus he said this even as the State of CA is defending itself in a law suit brought by a prisoner who claims the State of CA has a policy of using prison rape as tool to control prisoners. Guys got a pretty good case I'd say. If I'm on the jury, I'd award plaintiff All the Money in the World plus one dollar.
