Hi x,

Speaking of the FTSE. I found this on the yahoo.com site. I don't know how accurate it is.

**************************

Guys just thoguht I should let you know when FSTE weightings chnage on 18th June.

MSCI (joint venture between Morgan Stanley and Capital Group) announced the individual companies around the world that will have their weightings increased/decreased in their portfolios.

- EIDOS, Psion and London Bridge Software - which were recommended holdings previously - have been DELETED FROM THE LIST ...ie. the new recommendations appear to say fund managers should sell them and hold other shares instead.

- apparently $1 TRILLION funds will be rebalanced in line with the new recommendations;

- various experts quoted. Consensus appears to be there will be BOTH an immediate reaction (15% of portfolios adjusted) AND ALSO a continued drift thereafter. The flow of capital will impact the share prices of the companies recommedned/deleted.

House Broker holding up stock ahead of rights issue. Intersting to see how long they can prop up the price in these market conditions.

Good Luck and Happy Investing.
