bob i had to boot into w98se just to look at the automatic skip driver agent you mentioned. that one totally took me by surprise. i wasn't even sure if you were joking or not. i thought it might be something bail bondsmen use to locate fugitives. <g3> anyway, when i accessed system tools and selected automatic skip driver agent, the message i got in return was... "There are no ASD critical operation failures on this machine" so tell me, when asd found a prob with one of your displays, did it do an auto fix, or prompt you for repair, or what? :) mark
