Hi Skeet,

You are preaching to the choir on that one.

The last decline of the dollar was the last time GM gained market share. The point I'm making is in the big picture manufacturing will be allowed to go overseas. Its the same argument as oil exploration.
Our regulatory burdens push production to countries that say it is ok to come and do it the efficient way. This spreads the prosperity and keeps America the green and beautiful. As resource raping of the world goes on out of sight.Heck it is nothing we didn't do to our own lands as we became a developed nation.

We can't have it all - so we share the work with underdevloped countries both in grunt manufacturing and natural resources as well.

I think Bill's onto a brilliant idea. If we farmed out our litigious bureaucrats we might once again become competitive after they screwed up the foreign competition.ggg
