Ethan:

I didn't see the quarterly filed at Edgar, so I dug at Yahoo and found this:

biz.yahoo.com

No doubt you could find the same at BEA's website.

Also, the annual just came in the mail over the weekend. Going by memory, cash flow from operations was $225M; cap exp were $35M. Being simplistic and looking only at operating FCF, that is $190M, or about $0.45/share. The above link is first quarter of the new fiscal year, so if you think about my previous numbers, which I estimated before the annual arrived, they are very conservative. With flat revenues and the growth in cap exp I would now bump my estimate to $0.70-$0.72 for this fiscal year; with growth at the low end that they seem to expect, $0.80-$0.85 should be feasible.

I don't care for the debt, but I've long held another little software company that did the same thing. They get these super low interest rates and make it convertible. They then have that pile of cash with which to expand or make acquisitions.
