For me it's pleasant to see anybody else interested (g). Actually I see its benefits as more regional, restricted to the properties west of Bathurst Inlet, however I suppose those properties on the east side of the Inlet would benefit from the port, if not from the road.

Looks like an interesting day ahead for me on Thursday;

You know that I'm puzzled at everyone's lack of interest in my speculation (bg)... How about this additional bit of info ?

"On the exploration front we are targeting massive sulphide deposits in areas that are infrastructurally advantaged. This will ensure that discoveries made will have the greatest likelihood of being economically viable. In 2000, we successfully established a portfolio of quality copper and zinc exploration properties in Australia, Canada, Peru and Sweden. We plan on drilling some 60 holes this year to test these targets and will spend $4 million on exploration."

So although the Nunavut infrastructure proposal addresses primarily their property, they have turned their eyes in other directions, too.
