<Harmony goes after more AU junk that should be shut down. >

I think the South Africans need these mining jobs more than Americans. Why not close all the gold mines in North America ? All they do is pollute the environment, waste water and power resources and at the end of the day only produce more of this useless thing called gold that nobody needs.

The Free State assets, which include the Bambanani, Matjhabeng and Tshepong mines, would fit snugly into
Harmony's asset portfolio.

I do not have a current AU report
but in 1999 those three mines
produced - 492,200 / 360,100 / 327,600
cash cost - $US254 / 325 / 241

Yuck !

Russ:

Nice move on Metallica today, on big volume.

Also, the PR from FGX is excellent. I did a quick calculation based on the average grade and intercept of the 10 new drillholes and came up with an equivalent of 50 metres of 3.6 gpt AuE. If you calculate that for the 400 x 350 metre main zone, it's already around 2 million ozs. -- open in all directions, with several other highly prospective targets in addition. So IMO FGX has really hit a big one here.

All we need is a good move in the POG for this to take off!

Regards,
Howy
