Rear Admiral finally returned from the bathroom, where he had been cleaning himself up. There were still some stains from all that blood that had oozed onto his engineer's uniform from the mini-sword stab wound in his neck. But, for the most part, he was looking as dapper as ever. Remembering his restaurant manners, he removed his blood-stained engineer's hat from his head and stuffed it in his pocket. It was still dripping from having been soaked in soapy water while Rear was in the restroom. He was about halfway across the room to the group's table when he noticed they were already eating their meals. "Well, that's a fine how-do-ya-do", he said to himself. "Those pigs went right ahead and started eating without me." "PIGS?", screamed the waiter. "We have Pigs? Where? Get them out of here! It's bad enough that we have that bunch of talking animals from PEST in here ... but ... but ... PIGS ?? The Health Department will surely close us down!" Rear stared at the waiter, unaware of what had transpired earlier. Rear looked across the room just as Bugs Pond (our hero!) and Iggy the Iguana disappeared through the kitchen door. "Hmmmm ...", thought Rear. "I better go with them to see what's up. Maybe they're going to order something special for the group. I'll have to let them know that I don't eat anything with onions in it." Rear Admiral hurried across the room and pushed open the kitchen door. There he saw Bugs Pond (our hero!) and Iggy the Iguana, standing by a table where a very pale, sickly looking Octopussy was sprawled out. That must have been a very large table. Have you ever seen an octopus with all 8 tentacles sprawled out? "... and I think we can still save him", Rear heard Bugs say to Iggy as Rear entered the kitchen and closed the door behind him.
