Heinz, every one trades trend there are no true contrarians, except scalpers and swingers. I am curious if the Euro will hit 0.82 again or it will base around 0.84. My hunch is that the FED will lower 0.5% again otherwise the US economy will thank big time.

The strong dollar is now counter productive, US goods are 10% higher than few months ago and this with a weak world economy will shut down more US manufacturing outfits including drugs and semis. Something must give IMHO.

Was thinking tonight that the only thing that can save the US is some old fashioned inflation, which will deflate the debt bubble.

One of the more amazing statistics I heard today is that there are more hedge funds than stocks in the US. Well that makes at least 3 money manger for each US stock if one counts mutual funds, hedge funds and pension funds.
