Actually, most 760 boards still use the VIA southbridge? and you still have to play with one of those 4 drivers in the 4 in 1 set

You are right, the Via southbridge is physically present, but you don't have to load Via drivers. MSFT produced drivers are far more stable, and for AGP, you use AMD driver.
