You never know. IMO Vodaphones strongarm tactics w/ Verizon are an attempt to keep the W-CDMA dream of worldwide domination alive. They are losing steam just when cdma2000 is gaining momentum. The foundation supporting the Umts house of cards is starting to come undone. If it comes unglued, look for Vodaphone to jump ship in a nanosecond!
