Keep casting those stones. I'm not the one that got chaptered out 6 years shy of retirement and have nothing to show for your 14 years in the supply room.

And I'm not the one to talk out of my ass about MSOs and obligations, only having to retract my statements.

You truly are a joke. I bet you're one of those losers that we used to see in DOL or DPTM. Fat civilian who used to be in the military, but couldn't hack it on the outside world (i.e. private sector) and had to get a job back with the government/DoD in a civilian capacity...

Pretty interesting personal anecdote about today's murder of an IDF intelligence officer:

How my friend became a murderer
By Sheila Raviv

JERUSALEM (June 15) - On Wednesday I met a friend. I often quote him in my e-mail articles but do not divulge his real name for fear of endangering his life. For reasons that will become clear later, that is no longer relevant.

Hassan, an Israeli Arab with family in Bethlehem, is building a house for himself and his family in Beit Safafa.

About a year ago, Hassan decided to study computers, to better his current work as a handyman in my parents-in-law's old people's home. The only free course available to him was one run by a Muslim group. As time went on, he became more and more devout, telling me with such delight of the joy he derived from being a practicing Muslim.

We both enjoyed, away from the proximity of inquisitive ears, discussing the situation - both from his point of view and mine.

I spoke with him Wednesday and he expressed his sadness at being unable to visit his family in Bethlehem because of the closure, but added that he fully understood the reasons for not allowing Palestinians into Israel. Suddenly he burst out: "Arafat doesn't want peace. He is a warhorse who wants Muslims to fill Israel to throw the Jews and Christians out"

I asked him whether things could be better without Arafat and his corrupt clique. "Arafat has been so successful in poisoning the minds of the entire Palestinian people, making them believe that Israel is rightfully theirs and that they will achieve eternal joy if they are willing to die for their beliefs, that there is only shame in turning back," he replied.

"For starters, the leaders of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Hizbullah, and the PLO within the Palestinian Authority are 10 times more violent than Arafat and will stop at nothing, killing and maiming anything that moves and has the title Jew. And secondly, the frenzy of the Palestinian people will not allow any peaceful outcome. They believe that Jews and Christians must be driven out, and if not, the Palestinians will wage all-out war on Israel. They also believe that they will do so with the support of all the Arab nations in the area."

I asked him if this was just his personal opinion. "Not only my opinion, that is what the leaders say at every meeting, every mosque, and every television broadcast. They are calling for a holy war against the infidel. My personal opinion is that unless the Europeans and the Americans wake up to the truth very, very soon, we will all die."

Yesterday, I discovered that Hassan had been working with Israeli intelligence for 14 years. The name of his senior contact was Lt.-Col. Yehuda Edri. At a planned meeting yesterday, Hassan suddenly pulled out a gun and shot and killed Edri. He shot one of the bodyguards in the car and then fled. The other bodyguard jumped out, caught, and killed Hassan. The entire scene took place close to the old people's home where he worked.

I am sad for the loss of my friend. I am shocked to realize that someone I thought I knew could be a killer. I am devastated to see the effects of Arafat's teaching of hatred turn a good, gentle family man into a cold-blooded murderer. My gut feeling is that someone threatened his wife and children to cause him to act this way. We will never know and in truth and it doesn't really matter. Edri died anyway.
