I agree with you completely Ron. Coming out of high school, I was a liberal by default. I was converted in college, after reading Hayek and von Mises. In my college Philosophy classes, I was the only one to challenge the correctness of Marx, or Rawls for that matter. Its obscene how professors can heap praise on Mill's "On Liberty" and then switch over to an unchallenged survey of the wisdom of Marx and other illiberal (that should read Liberal as in Thomas Jefferson) positions.
