Victor: In my whole life it is just about the only thing I can tell you for sure -- I was part of the American effort to figure out what the Japanese were doing to us to formulate a counter strategy -- the picture that emerged was stunning. The Japanese developed SCM to beat the band and used it in a way that has taken us 20 years to match. I dare say we are now in a position to pull ahead decisively, and SCM software is a key part of it.
