hi solon

good update. keep digging. with that low system resource %, you should probably take a look at background apps running and see what can be shut down. as previously noted, the recent ken adams files have chronicled much of that. <g3>

re, "I know I gotta do much of it on my own. Trying. CYA later"

<g> remember, nobody said you can't ask questions from time to time! that wasn't a sentence i imposed... just some guidelines and recommendations! <g3>

if you find yourself getting bored with your studies, you can always whip into pc pitstop for a quick and informative diagnosis pcpitstop.com . we've all had some fun with this site recently, and you will probably learn some more good things there.

maybe someone can come up with a memory tester? and keep in mind that you should crack the case and reseat the mem sticks and the vid card, provided you feel at ease doing so.

"You and super cow ;) have helped me be at ease here"

that's always good to hear. this thread is full of nice people, as you are discovering.

keep us posted.

:)
