Lee,

One thing I noticed consistently in the USA...everywhere I worked as an engineer there were bright & experienced individuals already in the company that could do the job. So why did the management go and hire an expensive green card foreigner??

The reason...I had a university degree...and I guess I was still a little cheaper then USA guys with equivalent qualifications and experience.

And...Why were the USA guys with equivalent qualifications and experience so expensive in the first place??

My point is.. as some one else here mentioned ... education can be viewed as an investment (re VA programs). How come so many folks in the USA miss this point?

All those low paid (but still tax paying) USA J6P's should be asking that question on voting day.

They might also wish to remind the government that Darwinian forces might be at work in a national sense.

Third world counties are third world counties because of what reasons??? To hear that employees at Walmart cannot afford to pay housing rent and buy the basics to live with is not a good sign in my book.

Not that I am complaining here... I hope you understand <BG>

pearly.
