Tell me: what central vision drives telecomms, in the US now? What definition of "national interest", motivates the provision of broadband to all, for instance?

Jim- Not sure what the answer to your question is.

But if the stats are accurate, 9 million BB users in North America is significant. Even more so, the additional 119,000 per week! Most significant of all is the willingness of customers to pay $50/month for broadband with no apparent drop in demand. BUT are the figures accurate? -MikeM(From Florida)
