There was no mention in the Constitution or the Preamble, just the Declaration of Independence, I guess you are wrong again ......or the founders were liars, even to themselves. Is money a document and why are there invocations and chaplains in the Legislature? Where do you find evidence of religious control or are you merely acknowledging the majority were of the Christian faith? Was there an official religion or mandatory church attendance? I thought freedom of religion included disbelief, perhaps that was a lie also. The bottom line is I don't share your fear of religion.
