Geez, all those newspapers in those socialist countries are going to hurt our feelings. Maybe they'd like him better if he walked around checking out the babes like his predecessor.

I wonder how loud they'll scream for help when the next Hitler shows up?

The tensions that we have with Europe are inherent in the objective situation, as long as it is not being deliberately obscured. Strategically and economically, we have the better bargaining position by a wide margin. Morally, we are, in fact, in a better position than most of Europe, with its dictatorships, complicity in genocide, imperial misadventures, and global wars, all of which makes their harping on the execution of MacVeigh seem like a poor joke. While we should be cautious in dealing with Europe, we cannot afford to let them condescend........

The European press must be hard up for news. Maybe they need a few more terrorist bombings to keep them focused on real issues?
