OT/Thx. Actually, exchanged a few posts

with Rainwater on one of the oil threads where he and several partners own a large part of the company. Of course, no way to be certain with alias'.<g>

But it was very ironic. Was in the middle of a huge food fight with about a 1/2 dozen posters bashing me. Then he posted support of some contrarian comments I'd made.

It was very funny, several of the other posters immediately changed their tune and tried to agree with him while still dissing me. He just split and so did I not long thereafter.

My old mentor, a self-made stock market multimillionaire and retired petroleum engineer, also used leverage effectively in his investing. But one of the reasons he was such a great help to me in 1986 (when I went full time in this game); he never tried to change my style into his.

Am getting to that 7 figure net worth more slowly without leverage. However, doing so without margin, options, or focus on ST work frees me from the stress and imbalances in my personal life that I've seen consume those too driven to balance money and family. So taking it slow and enjoying the journey gives me the added benefit of having the time to smell the flowers along the way.<g>

Best regards,
