hi ben that sounds a bit familiar to me, in that i still have win95 on my other computer. i think you need the winsock2 upgrade. here is a snip from a quick google search that kind of points to your prob... "When launching the Multiuser Server on Windows machines, the following error occurs: "A required DLL file, WS2_32.DLL was not found". Some early builds of Windows 95 did not include Winsock 2, which is where the "WS2_32.DLL" file comes from. The Multiuser Server requires this file, as well as others included with Winsock 2, in order to run correctly." here is the ms download page for winsock2 microsoft.com i advise you to read the ms release notes and pay particular attention to what they have to say about the dial-up networking (dun) upgrades. you will find a useful reference guide link inside this post from two weeks ago #reply-15859264 good luck, and i hope this helps :) mark
