No offense, but I appreciate it when others that catch stuff like your post and point out when others don't have a clue what they are talking about. I had no idea you were in that category until you yourself said so when answering Cary's reply.

There seem to be several types that post on SI:

1- shorts that try to scare out others to drive the stock lower so they can cover at a lower price.

2- Those on the sidelines looking to reinforce their bearish opinions and hoping to get at a lower price. Sort of "anti cheerleaders"

3- Those long and often are big cheerleaders looking for others to reinforce their bullish views.

the 3 above can easily be accomplished by people clueless about the actual business. The stock can just be just a piece of paper to them.

4- Those with experience in the industry that understand it to some degree and try to trade the ups and downs. Many of us have nice long term positions but trade around the edges... hoping we are smarter than buy n hold... but often surprised we are not!

I greatly appreciate knowing where different members here are in that spectrum. I value the most the opinions of those different than mine who have an idea about the industry.
