Dale: Many corporations do not take whether or not a PC model is actually in a corporate PC product line when making their purchasing decisions.

While not really corporations, many educational institutions are going with AMD. For instance, our local theoretical chemistry department (University of Copenhagen) has switched from SGI O2s to Athlons (that's not to say that they are throwing the O2s out, of course ;-)).
