Never mind MSFT, they just had comments on inflation & savings, recommending major purchase like car as protection against inflation which they expect to raise to 3.8%. This kind of advice is being given to "investors" of CNBC.

jr, I have to agree with you. There seems only the tiniest chance that the price of gold will go back above the US$300 level within the next 20 years. The only possibilities for it happening sooner appear to be WWIII or a collision with the earth of an asteroid of more than 9km diameter. Phil
