Hi Gina,

Sorry, my answer won't be yes or no, since I don't necessarily agree with your premise
When did you stop beating your husband? LOL! Thanks Gina, I really like your style and panache. So, we'll agree to disagree on who wrote A.B. 1890. You contend it was a bunch of dufuses in the Lege. I contend it was some extremely crafty and devious lawyers in the HQs of the companies that were to be most impacted by the bill and who had the greatest financial interest to be gained by utterly snookering the Steve Peace crowd, i.e. the California state legislature (along with the Wilson administration), all of whom can be made to tap dance for the correct level of campaign financing. Reminds me of the old joke in my area, construction. When you needed to make sure you passed an inspection, the standard line upon greeting the inspector was "Mr. X, I hear you are running for (public) office. Congratulations! Let me be the first to contribute to your campaign!" Works like a charm. :/| (Flattery is the sincerest form of imitation.) Speaking of which, did you hear about the stamp collector who went into the bar and found the most beautiful bar maid? He said: "Miss, I swear you are more beautiful than any stamp in my collection." To which she replied, "Sir, philately will get you nowhere!"

Here's a new news source that I found via the Frontline data dump, gotta love the name:

rtumble.com

So, really, what about the parlous state of sartorial splendor in California? Laundromats going out of business at an exponentially exploding clip..... This is grim. And grimy.

Ray :/| (I love that one.... hehe)
