The Cold War is over. We won. Europe is ready to move forward. The Bush administration, however, isn't. The triumvirate of Cheney-Rumsfeld-Bush cannot escape its Cold War mindset: Have to play "tough" with all foes, be they a senator from Vermont or a socialist government in Denmark. Unless the Republican Party wakes up and begins to think in new directions, its members will find themselves in the same fix as the Conservative Party in Great Britain. It's just a matter of time.

Your assertion that "Secretly most Europeans love Bush" is the joke of the day. In fact, most people in Europe look upon Bush as a dumb cowboy who probably couldn't locate Sweden on a map of Europe, much less pronounce the name of the Spanish prime minister correctly.
